Executive Report
Year 11 Exams
Our Year 11 students have been working diligently this week in preparation for their upcoming Yearly Examinations, which begin next week.
A reminder to all students to arrive at least 30 minutes before their first examination. In the case of illness or misadventure, please contact the school promptly. If your child can attend but feels unwell during the examination, they should inform the presiding officer or deputy principal, as they may still be eligible to apply for an illness/misadventure appeal.
We wish our Year 11 students the best of luck!
Year 12
The countdown begins with only three weeks of classes left for our Year 12 students! This week, the much-anticipated annual Teachers vs. Year 12 games kicked off, with intense competition across Netball, Futsal, and Volleyball. The excitement is palpable and has drawn large crowds to cheer on the teams. The teachers have so far dominated with wins in the first Futsal and Volleyball rounds as well as rounds 1 and 2 of Netball; however, they are not resting on their laurels in the remaining games and are prepared to counter a Year 12 comeback!
A reminder to parents and carers to secure their tickets for the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony on September 26th. Additionally, please complete the permission form and payment for the Year 12 Rewards Picnic on Tuesday, September 24th.
Twilight – Staff Professional Development
This Tuesday, all staff engaged in three hours of professional learning focused on HSC Strategy, Numeracy, and Wellbeing. Our expert teachers led these sessions, and faculties had dedicated time to collaborate on implementing high-leverage strategies such as notemaking and building knowledge across Stage 6 subjects. Strengthening our focus on these strategies aims to support more students in achieving excellence, particularly in moving into Band 5 and 6.
Antibullying Plan
Following our involvement in the Bullying No Way National Week of Action, we are continuing to enhance our approach to addressing allegations of bullying at RBSC. Our Wellbeing Team has developed clear response flows to manage incidents and ensure interventions are provided through our Care Continuum. (Stay tuned for images of these flows!)

There were many options so many people got an opportunity to play a sport on this day, our team played netball although there was also oz tag and soccer.
